12/07/2001 j howe shntool reported these shn's were not cut on sector boundries and had non-canonical headers. is it ok to re-seed the repaired version of this set ?

10/01/2002 RMS This source is not cut on sector boundaries. If you decode the shn's to wave, use shntool to fix the wave files, and re-encode to SHNv3 (seek tables appended), the following MD5 results:

12/11/2002 Mr. Marmar Do NOT re-seed any of the SSSB shows....A couple of us over on the forums are going to reseed all of them as FLAC's fixed so getting the *good* copies will be easier....
12/12/2002 Willy I think any effort to correct 'all' of Jay Serafin's seeds is great! Still, I for one have not made the switch to FLAC, so I would avoid blanket statements telling the community not to create fixed 'shn' sets. Please continue to submit md5s/txts to the db if you have done shntool fixes for these shows. I'm not going to post this to each of Serafin's shn links so please refer people to this comment if there is any question. Tx!
