Notes from the taper:
Thanks Charlie! I look forward to hearing the edited version.
A bit more detailed source info for the Recording Info. section of this one:
Audio Techinica 822 (~ 7-8' high on stand on balcony behind SBD) -> Sony D-7 @ 48KHz (via line in) -> MDAT -> Sony PCM-R500 (playback) -> s/pdif coax -> Tascam CD-RW700 -> MCD-R
Recorded by Art Newberg and James Bartoli
Initial transfer to disc by James Bartoli
Art and I got there a bit late for what was the Family Dog's opening night for the new Maritime Hall. Zero played the middle slot, between Iron Butterfly and the Gregg Allman Band, and the room was full of rowdy bikers on the main floor so we set up on the balcony. I do not recall seeing any other tapers this night, though someone may have been recording on the floor.
Art's D-7 was the front-of-the-line deck, and my deck was patched out of his at the show with a homebrew 7pin -> 7pin cable. My DAT was used for the initial transfer to disc. I gave Charlie a copy of my master CD-R a while back.
