d3t07 - U.S. Blues
-------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
- There were multiple instances of dropouts throughout this source due to a faulty cable
in the rig . Patches were required in Shakedown Street , Victim Or The Crime, Built to
last, We Can Run But We Can't Hide, Memphis Blues, Deal, Samson & Delilah, and US Blues.
All patch material was derived from the only other circulating source Shn ID 15109
- There are a few blemishes throughout that were less intrusive than a patch.
- This is another fine specimen unearthed thanks to Greg. To date, this is the first and only
aud of this show. The overall quality is nice, and the show is a good one. lots of energy.
Enjoy!!!!

August 26, 2008 recollection:
Tapers: Greg Holtz and Danny Taggart (Danny is responsible for all of the cuts that needed patches....(Sorry, Danny, I love ya man)....but he was the worst taper I ever knew)
"The Rosemont Horizon hosted the Chicago - area shows in 1988 and 1989. With parking attendants that did not know how to park cars in rows, plenty of cops, and in a direct path to one of the approach runways to Chicago O'Hare airport, it was not one of the funner places to attend Dead shows. I was always a bit jaded at the Rosemont, as it was a venue very close to my home, but I always had much more fun at more inviting venues in other parts of the country.
I really don't remember a lot about any particular Rosemont show.....other than a first set opening Scarlet>Fire on 4/15/88...so I don't have a lot in the way of anecdotes for this particular show...so...
Thanks to BGreen for another masterful transfer/master job, and to Evan for the FLAC/Track processing".
