Doinkertape's 2nd Gen reel source (C082) |
Notes: |
Lineage: MR -> R -> ??R?? -> Sound Forge -> 16 cent slowdown (3/5 of 1/4 of one note) for part of show -> FLAC via Flac Frontend -> Lplex Several glitches in the original tape were smoothed out. Pitch was matched and maintained throughout with "Virtual Keyboard". This is a DVD-r, which was created with the Sourceforge.net program Lplex. It was done as a DVD-r instead of a DVD-a as there aren't as many people who can play DVD-a (I can't). What you are getting is a regular NTSC DVD with a black screen. This has several advantages to a 24 bit/48K FLAC transfer... one of them is that you can actually hear the recording in higher resolution through your DVD player (on a home theatre system it is even better). |
