This is sourced from the original broadcast, the "Rape Me" intro was edited out of re-broadcasts. The camera work is excellent throughout, and the picture and audio is also very good for all sections. Transfer Notes: Transfer 1 has a slightly better picture quality while Transfer 2 has higher quality audio. Transfer 2 has additional footage. My Notes: Very nice perfomance by Nirvana. Pro shot, multiangle. Kurt begins the opening riffs and sings the first few lines to "Rape Me," only to start right into "Lithium." Kurt does forget the lines to his lyrics at the end of the song, ad-libs "I'm so retarded"....followed a few lines later, "I can't take another take!" Krist throws his bass up into the air as he usually does near the song's ending, only to get hit in the head with it, falls down and stumbles off stage, while Kurt stabs one of the amps with his guitar, and then throws it into the drums. Apparently there had been some fallout between Nirvana and Guns N' Roses some time prior to this performance. Krist shouts out, "where's Axl? Hi Axl! Goodbye Axl" when Nirvana accepted one of Nirvana's awards.
