Notes: | Phish 11-22-97 Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA 3 discs Source: Schoeps CMC6/MK41->Sonosax->SBM-1->DA-P1 DAT->CD Transfer: Sony R300>Zefiro ZA2>HP7200+ Disc 1: Set I: 1. Mike's Song-> 2. I Am Hydrogen-> 3. Weekapaug Groove 4. Harry Hood 5. Train Song 6. Billy Breathes Disc 2: End of Set I: 1. Frankenstein 2. Izabella Philler: 12-06-96 Aladdin Theatre, Las Vegas, NV Source: DAUD (specs unknown) End of Set II: Good Times Bad Times Encore: Harpua* > "Wildwood Weed" Rap$* > Harpua* > I Wanna Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart# > Harpua*-> Suspicious Minds^-> Harpua > Suzy Greenberg** #With vicious start/stop jamming. *Most of Harpua had Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde from Primus. After the opening, Les did a rap about a weed or something like that. Then more Harpua and the Jimmy story (Jimmy and Poster Nutbag going to Vegas). They stop and camp. At the campsite, they start yodelling. $Based on the song from Jim Stafford's "Spiders and Snakes" album. #With yodelers. John McEuen and Heather and Anamiekl August did a country/yodel tune. The story continues, Jimmy & Poster meet up with four "Elvii" on the edge of Las Vegas and have a duel. ^The four "Elvii" sing the first few verses of "Suspicious Minds" and then Fish continues. Jimmy (Fish?) is victorious. Then the dog/cat fight. Harpua wins and the song finishes. At some point everyone returns and then Brian Mantia, the drummer for Primus, shows up for "Suzie Greenberg". **All of the above musicians; with "Suzie Q" jam lead by one of the Elvii. Disc 3: Set II: 1. Halley's Comet*-> 2. Tweezer > 3. Black Eyed Katy > 4. Piper > 5. Run Like An Antelope** Encore: 6. Bouncing Around The Room 7. Tweezer Reprise *Before they started the set, the crowd chanted the beginning of "Destiny Unbound" (in hopes that the band would play it). Trey acknowledged the chant by saying that he couldn't hear what was being sung; that it sounded like some kind of "death chant"; and asked if this was the point in the show where they do the human sacrifice. He then asked for a volunteer, which was pretty funny. No "Destiny Unbound" was played or even teased. **With "Mike-O-Esquandolas" (instead of "Marco"). | |||||
