-------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
- slight static/digi pop at :29 on d1t03
- slight static/digi pop at 1:49 on d1t07
- there is still a slight hiss present, but much less pronounced from LL25
- slight static burst at 1:54 d1t05
- This recording has less static, level fluctuations, and just has an overall
more pleasant sound. This is a definite upgrade from LL25.
- Thanks to Peter Losin for the source!
- "Davis had been away from New York for several months, in the Midwest trying to cure
his heroin habit. He returned in April and joined the Beryl Booker group for two nights
broadcast on WJZ. Perhaps on the strengths of this gig, Davis was offered a one-week
engagement at Birdland, May 1-7."- Credit to Peter Losin, http://www.plosin.com/
