FM reception at the recording location wasn't the best, so the tuner was set to mono, but given the show content (vocals/piano/drum) it doesn't seem to make much difference. The show is complete except for commercials being removed. Aside from knoking down some of the massive 3.75ips tape hiss the audio is as recorded, including slight dropouts from the cartridge track changes and some slight tape damage. Frankly, I'm surprised that this tape has survived this long considering how much 8track players love to eat tape.... You can judge for youself but the sound quality seems pretty good to me. Waits fans can correct me, but as far as I know this show hasn't been circulated yet. This is my first attempt a torrent trading, so if I've screwed up somewhere along the line please cut me some slack! Comments, good or bad, would be most welcome. If this works out I've got a few more shows to trade. Please do not convert this to mp3 or sell copies - this show is provided for trading purposes only! -Flick

Notes: One of the best Lineage (Guessing!) > Radio Broadcast > Analogue Tape > FLAC > YOU Running time 61:45 Tom Waits with Ralph Ebler on drums. Host/Production Supervisor is Vin Scelsa. This is a wonderful recording. Cool set list and cool chat from Tom. Vin Scelsa has actually circulated this from his own archive at some point. I am not sure how close to his source this version is...but the quality tells me that it could be from his version...in which case, this has never even travelled through the airwaves! You decide!
