Notes: |
Date seems speculative . Notes say only Jan 1973. This copy doesn't include "Tragic Magic" which Etree says was played that night . Notes for a show I have 1/26/73 does include "Tragic Magic" but Etree says it was not played that night. Perhaps Etree is worng or perhaps this show is really from 1/26 and the one I have labelled 1/26 is really from 1/25 . Who knows ?

Recorded by Bill Graham, probably on two track stereo machine.
Essentially the On The Road show (Hawkins/Hood/Beckett/Rebop), but arguably a better performance.
Don't blame Traffic for not issuing this;
Bill 'kept it under his hat' and the tape didn't circulate until near the time of his death

Notes: |
Date is speculative. Two consecutive shows were performed at the Winterland, recordings exist of both but neither can be tied to a specific date. |
