Notes: The complete, unedited show of one the classic, most intense Tool gigs of all time. The recording equip was a bit primitive and the speed on the source tape runs slightly slow, but once you get into this thing, it doesn't matter. Tool always plays London so well. The ebb and flow of Tool and the audience here was tremendous. You need to see the video to understand. It is what Tool was in the Undertow period. This is the kind of ritual atmosphere (aggressive, yet cathartic and healing) they created in concert during that period, - different from the Aenima and Lateralus era shows. The highlights are too numerous. Bottom? - Does it get much more intense than that? This is still my favorite reading of No Quarter they've ever performed. Tech Notes: 1) This was slightly remastered by the taper (Duncan) before he sent it to me. This included fixing glitches in 4 degrees and No Quarter that were present in previously circulating copies. 2) The speed on this copy runs slightly slow (due to the ANA source tape). 3) The show was mastered with track inconsistencies in between the first couple of songs.

Notes: Finally, a 7.21.94 1st gen! No more wathcing grainy copies of this classic show. Complete, unedited, one of the most intense Tool shows of all time. If you have the audio copy of this show, you need to see the video to truly appreciate what's going on. The sound on this 1st gen transfer has more high end than other VHS copies I've had in the past. It's a little much on the ears at times, but still excellent.

Notes: Justin Chancellor of Peach on guest bass on Sober, would later join the band in 1995 to replace Paul on bass. Heithal Al-Sayad of Sensor guest vocals on the spoken word on Bottom.

Notes: 1.58GB. Heitham Al-Sayed from Senser does the interlude of Bottom... and Justin Chancellor guests on Sober! Great show, but Paul's bass is low in the mix and the security dudes pop up in front of the camera quite often.

Notes: Fantastic show. Random little into by some guy dressed up as Jesus. Killer version of Bottom with Heitham Al-Sayad on guest vocals during the spoken word part. Justin Chancellor on Sober. Paul chanting "JUSTIN IS A C**T" during Disgustipated. Great motivational speech my Maynard. Good filming job, on a rare occaision the camera moves to black or someone walks in front of it but this doesn't detract from the performance or recording at all. The audio is great but if you listen with headphones you can hear some sounds like the taper was near the bar and that combined with some nearby whistling is a little distracting at times. On speakers you're good with this one though. Highly recommended show.
