Neumann KM-150 > Apogee MiniMe (16b/44.1kHz) > Sony PCM-M1 |
Notes: |
* Abandoned mid-jam when the Burlington Police temporarily shut-down the show to clear the sidewalks. The next track will allow listeners to marvel at the band's fruitless attempts to assist security in getting people to move off the sidewalks. The banter is priceless.
notes: In stark contrast to my recording later at Higher Ground, this recording will really be a tribute to the audience. It is a "best I could do" recording. As far as I know, mine was the only stand to survive the pandemonium at this show, so we'll have to take what I could get. The street was fabulously overcrowded, and the "non-moe." crowd was quite rowdy. I had a small army surrounding my stand to keep the crowd-surfers and surging masses away. Still, the stand was jostled a little here and there. The weather was also miserable, and the wind (and rain and snow), combined with the echo off the surrounding buildings, made for a sub-standard recording. You will notice the high-end is a bit wishy-washy as a result of the constant shifting of my microphones. Still, this recording will stand as a tribute to one of the most troublesome moe. shows in history.
