Notes: From the re-master: "Various improvements done with Macintosh Digidesign Pro Tools (see below). Flac files created and sector boundaries verified with xACT. md5 file created with checkSum+." "Comments on the previous upload page requested that the levels be boosted and then it be seeded again. This recording definitely needed higher levels since -19 dB was the highest peak before." "Other problems now corrected: The speed was approximately 2.1 percent too fast, and has now been corrected." "The previous version also had a "DC offset" problem. Since I've bothered to mention this I guess I'd better try to explain what DC offset is. The reason that you should be happy that this problem can be fixed is that it causes a noticeable "thump" whenever playback is started. It's the name given to sound waves that are not centered properly at the zero point, but instead are offset in either the plus or minus direction. This phenomenon is somewhat rare, but can be caused by problems in the A/D conversion or by a faulty electrical ground in the stage or recorder power setup. Anyway, since I have been able to find it in a few recordings and then greatly improve them, I am able to detect it when it's there. I am including a screen grab of the beginning of the first track before and after running the DC offset plug-in built into Pro Tools software. You will notice that where there was a signal before during the silent intro, it shows no sound wave during silent sections after the plug-in filter has been run. The filter was run on the entire recording." "There were quite a few "microgaps" (approx. 10 milliseconds) in the applause between tracks that could heard and then removed when listening with headphones." "The tracking has been tightened up a bit with some intros and segues now tracked separately." "And finally a few song titles are corrected in this new info file."
