Notes: |
The source is how the source discs were given to me. Due to the almost non-existant tape hiss, it is very likely that this is, in fact, directly from the master audience cassette. This is a true FOB tape, and the audience can be very chatty at times (you'll hear some nice conversations between songs and some interesting song requests) but usually quiet down while the songs are actually playing. This is a great recording of a superb '77 show. --Ben Wirth
*The taper never seems to get fully situated or happy with the way things are going as there are numerous spots of volume drops/changes, channel drops, channel swaps, and some dropouts at various points. It is also of note that almost none of the track transitions are continuous...the taper seems to like pausing the tape after every song...this causes the start of almost all the tracks to be missing some material...I tried my best to edit this in a way in which it is a more smooth listen than the original hard cuts. |
