I recorded directly from his master tape to my computer using Cool Edit, divided the tracks using CD Wave and then converted to SHN before recording my copy onto cd. Dan had this to say about recording this show "Garcia and Kahn, The Ritz 1/27-28/86, An old buddy of mine from college was living in New York City and was employed as the light man at the Palladium. He knew the soundman at the Ritz and had my tape deck hooked into the soundboard before I could even score a ticket. They also had a killer video feed going on, but they wouldn't allow me to patch in with the portable VCR I had brought with me." Jerry Garcia & John Kahn Distribution info: Etree - no hits Phishhook - 6 hits (2 cd/4 analog) but source is listed as sbd>??>CDR Some distribution but not much. ------- Jerry Site Info -------- 01/28/86 The Ritz, New York City, NY top Set One: (6 songs - 30 minutes) It Takes A Lot To Laugh It Takes A Train To Cry 5:12 Dire Wolf 3:09 I've Been All Around This World 4:40 Spike Driver Blues 4:49 Jack-A-Roe 3:57 Run For The Roses 3:53 Set Two: (6 songs - 38 minutes) Deep Elem Blues 6:25 Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie 4:52 Little Sadie 4:57 Gomorrah 5:19 Bird Song 8:16 Ripple 3:40 Encore: (6 minutes) Goodnight Irene 5:03 Comments: Garcia & Kahn.
