Audience recording. Audio cdr > (Feurio) > wav > (flac frontend) > flac.
Taper: Legendary Taper E.
Note: Some weeks back I seeded a show I thought was 11-07-79 (it was given to
me with that label), but which turned out to be 11-06-79. When I discovered
this misidentification, I promised to seed an authentic 11-07-79. I have
now received an authentic version of 11-07-79 from a trader who was a source
for Watt Alexander's "The Gospel Project". This trader is somewhat more careful
in his use of the term "offmaster" than some others, and did not guarantee that
this recording fits that description; thus I have avoided the use of this term here.
However, listening to the recording, there is noquestion that it is of entirely
comparable quality to the other recordingsJefferson and I have seeded from the
Warfield/Warfield run. I do have anotherrecording of 11-07-79 promised to me that
is said to be "offmaster", and if there is any difference in quality I can make it
available. |

Compilation |
Notes: |
INVISIBLE THINGS is a new (probably the first ever of the sort) fan produced, non-commercial compilation of Bob Dylan?s evangelical era. It is released in January 2004.
The CD-r contains seventeen slightly edited tracks, each of them sourced from the circulating audience recordings. The purpose of this compilation is to represent Bob Dylan?s evangelical tours from a documentary point of view. Thus, in addition to actual songs, there are two episodes on the recording, a unique story about the late 1978 events told by Dylan himself on stage, and a fragment of ?Lay Lady Lay? played in May 1980. This is also the reason for including ?Caribbean Wind? in the set, as it shows how Dylan moved from the strictly evangelical stance to a multidimensional form of expression. The document proceeds chronologically from the first San Francisco nights to the last gospel show in Florida, November 1981.
