| Notes: | Opeth and Katatonia Demons of the Metalfest 2000-7-28 Milwaukee Metalfest Eagle's Ballroom Milwaukee WI 90 min This is a pretty excellent quality DVD. Both picture and sound are great, and both shows are shot very close up to the stage as if from the front row, but different filmers, i am pretty sure. Both I received in trade back in 2000. I attended the Metalfest and saw Opeth's first performance here in US, and caught it on audio tape, no video. They were a bit shy at first but put on a great show, as you will see. That lineup was their best in my opinion. Anyway, I missed Katatonia, didn't even know about them back then and they played so early the next day that we flailed. Later that year there was a dude that posted on the Opeth forum that he had filmed the show and anybody that wanted a copy just email him. The guy sent me the VHS tape no charge or questions asked, wish I could remember his name and I would give credit. So I believe this to be a first generation tape I recieved. The Katatonia show I recieved from PaulyBee and his was a first gen so I guess that makes my tape a second gen. They were encoded to DVD by myself with a VHS/DVD Combo Deck then the files transferred to computer and using DVD-Lab I created a nice simple menu. But I never got a tracklist for the Katatonia show on there, that's about all that's missing, otherwise I know that some of you will really enjoy this. Please seed and I hope this won't get banned for any reason, although I don't know why it would.
