There also exists a Rust version. But the master reel-to-reel surfaced recently with much better sound. Seymour was the first who released it several month ago. This is the best quality of the three that are going around. It sounds like a generation earlier, doesn't have the peak clipping or limited dynamic range of the others The first time this recording is at the correct pitch. Has a complete Down By The River (missing section probably spliced in). To my ears it has less hiss but without loss of music. Bootleg has a bonus song of DBTR from Philadelpia 1970-02-28, but it is a very average sounding audience recording & TLH only gave it a 43% likelihood of being lossless, so I didn't include. | |||||

This is not one of the many other versions of this show, it sounds like a soundboard & has eliminated most of the hiss that the others have. Old Crazy Horse recordings that feature Danny Whitten are so hard to come by, especially one's that sound this good. Upon first listen, this became one of my all time favoites. If you're a Neil fan or have one of the other sources, this is mandatory for your collection. It truely is pure bliss. There is but one minor flaw, a short cut during a blistering 20 minute version of "Down By The River." You need this recording. A special thanks must go out to whoever provided us with this unbelievable bootleg. | |||||
