BOOTLEG TITLE: Rumbo Tapes

Very interesting demo bootleg. It does not contain any live song or any official material, just demos and unreleased tracks. Check out Crash Diet and Just Another Sunday, very interesting tracks. Early demos of Don't Cry and Welcome To The Jungle. Anything Goes sounds completely different, so does The Garden or Yesterdays. Check it out if you don't have it. The sound quality is very good.

Notes: A really interesting listen, and a nice companion to "Unwanted Illusions", even though both share a couple of songs. Just Another Sunday is the lamest song ever recorded, but it's really cool to hear some of the most famous tunes stripped down like this. Only a few songs have live drums; most of these sessions use canned drums, so the songs sound a bit cheesy because of this. These demos were obviously recorded in a really laid back environment, because you can hear the radio in the background before some songs. This seems to have been trasferred from vinyl, and there are a few pops because of that. There are also a couple of minor flaws that reveal the high generation of the source tape. But, all in all, the sound quality is quite high, considering the source. This is a really nifty disc, and any Guns fans will get a kick out of listening to it, at least once.

Notes: "The Garden" bootleg. Demos for 91 LP & Bonus Tracks. Same source as "Rumbo Tapes". This has a bit different lineage though.
