Notes: There's some generational loss, this copy being several generations removed from the master, but there is plenty to appreciate with this show. Like Phoenix rising from the ashes, this band comes back to life and they are taking no prisoners in this show. The "Tribute Tour" would show that there were still plenty of fans of the band and the band also discovered they had plenty to say. Twenty years after this show was played the band, now down to Gary Rossington as the only original member still playing with the band, is still going strong and keeping the Skynyrd sound alive with their millions of fans.

Notes: When I received this DVD, it had just a basic menu and chapters placed every 6 minutes or so. Definitely recorded with a standalone DVD recorder. I reauthored the DVD with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6, placing chapters appropriately and added motion menus with audio (and incidentally the audio for the menus is from Skynyrd's 10-9-88 show in San Franciso, CA) The DVD is pro-shot, and it looks to have been broadcast on the large TV screens in the building, judging by the still frames between songs and the footage of the original band during "Free Bird". Audio is nice and clear. I'll be posting screenshots and audio samples. This show took place on the 10th anniversary of the Skynyrd plane crash. Original Honkette JoJo Billingsly joins Dale Krantz Rossington and Carol Bristow on "Sweet Home Alabama". Prior to "Free Bird", Artimus Pyle introduces survivors of the plane crash, and Allen Collins says a few words. This is a great show
