Notes: Convention Hall Asbury Park, New Jersey August 13, 2008 Having attended Bob Dylan's show at Asbury Park Convention Hall back in August, I can attest that it was a spectacular show, easily one of the best of the ten or so times I have seen him. Unfortunately, due to the poor acoustics of the venue, the existing recording of this show is extremely boomy and echoey, and it is difficult for one to hear the nuances of the performances. With this in mind I decided to take it into GarageBand to see if I could clean it up a bit. I have absolutely no experience in audio engineering, so naturally I had relatively low expectations for the end result. Nevertheless, after spending quite some time tweaking the EQ and compressor settings in an attempt to find the best possible sound for this tape, and ended up with something that, though it still exhibits a slight amount of boom, is noticeably clearer than the original. I'm extremely satisfied with the end result and hope you will be as well. It was the best I can do, though I'm sure someone with actually experience in the field could do even better. -The Wicked Drifter
