"...This is all of Jeff's set at the Royal Festival Hall summer Meltdown show. Jeff was part of the Songs of Experience event, showcasing artists covering Jimi Hendrix material.
Jeff's been called a chameleon, and this show proves that. He evokes the spirit of Jimi and at the same time he is inimitably himself. Red House is a great blues number for Jeff to open up on. Patti Smith does the vocals on All Along The Watchtower, while Jimmy Hall belts out the rest. Also featured here is the Japan 2005 touring band made up of Vinnie Colaiuto, Pino Palladino and Jason Rebello (all wise guys?). Crank it up and enjoy."
