Brand new transfer. It's a bit better than the previous upload, with less tape noise. Thanks to Mudster for digging out his tape, and making me think about this concert.
I agree with him on the first track... It's beyond the pale. Let's go ahead and say it's "In the Open." You have to understand that I wasn't in the arena yet, and the recorder was stuffed down my pants. Not only do I wish I'd bought a Sony by this time, but I wish I'd been ON time too.
I totally understand the completist's attitude toward something like this, regardless of quality. So, I took a little extra trouble and got my hands on a Panasonic transcription machine for playback. I think this is as good as it's going to get.
The Carlson Center was brand new. This was the first concert there.
