It's a bit better than the previous upload, with less tape noise. Thanks to Mudster for digging out his tape, and making me think about this concert. I agree with him on the first track... It's beyond the pale. Let's go ahead and say it's "In the Open." You have to understand that I wasn't in the arena yet, and the recorder was stuffed down my pants. Not only do I wish I'd bought a Sony by this time, but I wish I'd been ON time too. I totally understand the completist's attitude toward something like this, regardless of quality. So, I took a little extra trouble and got my hands on a Panasonic transcription machine for playback. I think this is as good as it's going to get. The Carlson Center was brand new. This was the first concert there. Stevie Ray Vaughan. He whooped our asses. Everyone thought so. | |||||
