Notes: DVD 1441; lineage: LB-9533. Taper: V4TX, DPA 4061>Sony D100 DAT>Sony CDRW66>CDR>EAC>FLAC, Big thanks to mbodayle for taping at the Ryman tips. This is not meant to be a competition with his recording, but I was getting mine ready as his showed up. There are time when the highs might dip a bit on this recording, that was due to me sitting down a couple of times to avoid being in the line of fire of the dude next to me taking pictures. I mean c'mon, if you are going to bend the rules, at least be subtle. The security was very vigilant in stopping people shooting pictures. So much so that law enforcement got into the act. I was nervous that if he got a flashlight shone on him, my stealth rig would be seen. That proved not to be the case, as during the show the police had me poke him so they could tell him not to take pictures. Still the paranoia never left. Very nice show, the sound improves as the show progresses, which makes me think the sound guy was doing some tweaking, as I didn't move. I was about eight rows back a bit to the left of center stage. I seem to get a bit of separation on the recording. The tracks are done on the fly so they are not perfect. Enjoy.
