Just the band, no Orchestra.
I really didn't know if I was going to put this one out or not.
At it's best though it's not too bad.
Horton seats about 6000 I believe. It's a barn and
an echo chamber.
I was sitting on bleachers a full basket ball court away from the stage.
The tape that the end of the show is on has not aged well.
After Tank before 'Pirates' they played 'Nutrocker'.
It wasn't usable. And the first few moments of 'Pirates' is missing.
After 'Fanfare' the band came to the front of the stage for bows.
Everyone except Carl, who came off of his drum kit and promptly
fell into the pit where the grand piano was sitting.
When the piano sunk into its pit the floor didn't close up the way
it was supposed to, leaving a hole that Carl found the hard way.
He hit the edge of the piano on his way down bruising a few ribs.
Around 14:30 into disc two track 6 you can hear me say to someone
"did you see him fall in that hole?".
Keith says something about it before 'Show Me' |
