TOTALMETALDVD (5/5) | DVD / 1 | A | View | AUD SHOT - PC MENUS
Notes: | Very good quality show. Complete. VERSION #1 " CLOSE SHOT " version. Shot very close to the stage slightly to the right of Kurt. The camera is extremely shaky due to an energetic crowd. The picture is very clear, but is seldom still for more then a few seconds at a time. The camera is often obstructed , but there are some great close shots of Kurt and Krist. Dave is hardly seen except during the destruction. The audio is also very good, but often the audience singing drowns out Kurt's.

Notes: | Very good quality show. Imcomplete. VERSION #2 " STAGE SHOT "version. This was shot from both sides of the stage, about half from the right and half from the left. It was obviously recorded by someone in close to the band. The footage starts backstage with Kurt in a wheelchair laughing and joking around just before going on stage. There are excellent shots of Kurt and Krist as the taper is often a few metres away from them. The taper does record next to Dave for a short period and gets great shots of him too. The picture is of good quality but is a little dull and uncolourful, there is also a timebar throughtout the video. The audio is slightly overdriven and distorted.

Notes: | GREAT quality show. Complete. VERSION #3 Amazing quality complete professional shot video. The intro is not aired, otherwise this video is complete. Great camera work and great sound. The entire video has a time code on the screen. This dvd is PAL format and will only play in players that accept PAL format dvds.
TOTALMETALDVD (5/5) | DVD / 1 | B+ | View | AUD SHOT - PC MENUS
Notes: | Pretty good quality show. Complete. VERSION #4 This version is shot from the right side kinda far back above crowd level. The picture quality is a little generated, but not too bad. The zoom only goes in to full body hight but there are good shots of Kurt and Chris. Dave is hidden behind the obstructed drums set until the destruction jam where he's briefly seen. This dvd is PAL format and will only play in players that accept PAL dvds.

Notes: | Good quality. Incomplete. VERSION #5 " PRO CLIPS " version. These are clips of professional video that have been broadcast on British TV. It is very well shot with some excellent close ups. The picture and audio are of fairly good quality but do appear to suffer slightly from generation loss. This version does not have a timecode on the screen and appears to have some different camera angles then the circulating complete pro shot version.

Notes: | Awesome quality show. Complete. VERSION #6 Amazing quality complete professional shot video. The intro was not aired, otherwise this video is complete. Great camera work and great sound. The entire video has a time code on the screen. This two disc version is slightly better quality than the #3 version. These dvds are PAL format and will only play in players that accept PAL format dvds.

The camera work is extremely shaky due to an energetic crowd. The picture is seldom still for more then a few seconds at a time and there are often heads and bodies in the way. There are however some great close shots of Kurt and Krist, Dave is hardly seen except during the destruction. The picture is very clear and sharp, the caps probably don't do it justice as some appear blurred but this is due to the camera moving. The audio is also very good, the only downside with it is that often the audience singing drowns out Kurt's. Inferior Transfers: HI8(M)>VHS(2)>STANDALONE>DVDR, Steve Ward.
