It was made two days before the fateful night. While listening, I wanted to somehow transform myself into the tape and tell Stevie not to go to Alpine Valley. This is a fairly nice sounding recording. It's clear with nice highs, but lacks some depth and warmth. Seems not to be the whole show, although it's the only portion that circulates on tape. There's only about 30 or 40 seconds of CSTW. I'm sure if the taper had known what was to happen two days later, he/she would have taken much greater care in getting the complete show.
