Notes: | Some people aren't too keen on Beelzebub's remastering work. I happen to be a big fan - best version of this show, IMO.

Notes: | This project is a straight remaster of the first tape source of the bands performance. For this project, we decided to use a version of the first tape source called "Original Cassette used for Custard Pie boot", which is a phrasing that's not as clear as what some people might think. Saying that this version is "the original cassette" used for the bootleg LP and CD-R releases "Custard Pie" clearly means that this tape was used for those bootleg releases, but when they say it's the "original cassette", does that mean that it's the taper's master cassette?, and does it mean that all versions of the first tape source come from this cassette copy?. These are the kind of questions a phrasing like "original cassette" raise, and unfortunately, the textfile wasn't very clear about the recordings complete history. The raw tape source is a very good recording on it's own (it's clear and well balanced, with a tremendous sense of atmosphere), but it does suffer from a few slight channel fluctuations. What we've done to make this recording: - we've tried to balance the instruments as much as possible. - we've tried to correct the channel balance issues as best we could. - we've brought down the volume to a more reasonable level, originally the raw tape source was running too hot, so we've brought the volume down to a more reasonable level for everyone.
