I took the opportunity of having all of the Boarding House tapes in one place at one time.
After mind-numbing bar-by-bar comparison of certain songs from different tapes I was able to isolate the early show from 01/16/1973.  Everywhere I looked (except older DeadBases) indicated that the 01/16 tapes are actually from 01/24.  The early show from 01/24 now circulates and the timings from the late show don't match these from 01/16.  Also the 01/16 show was FM broadcast on KPFA-Berkeley and there are the traces of the station-identification overdub in one spot.
It took two sources to complete:  the main source was a very low-gen cassette of the FM broadcast.  The patch source was a much higher-gen. cassette of the Fm broadcast.
The patch source was used for d1t01 (Who's Loving...) and the last 05:24 of d1t02 (Expressway).
Editing done on SoundForge 4.0 for pitch correction and splicing.  Everything else was done using cdWav and EAC.

Thanks DA for the tapes.
Enjoy.
