The Warfield Theatre
San Francisco, CA
Source: DSBD Matrix for both set I and set II
SBD > Apogee Rosetta 24-bit A/D > Yamaha O1V Digital Mixer
AUD > Schoeps CMXY-4V > Lunatec V2 > Yamaha O1V Digital Mixer
Yamaha O1V (via 16-bit AES @44.1) > Tascam DA-P1
Note: The taper's feed on all three nights of this run was a 44.1k
professional feed (copy prohibit) that was fine for the Tascam
DA-P1s, but wouldn't work for the D8s and other decks. Those
other decks were given an analog line from the lead deck:
SBD Matrix > Tascam DA-P1 > analog > SBM-1 @48k > DAT deck.
On Friday 3/9 this SBM-1 feed was also used for all but 5 DA-P1s.

Long lines at the door and will call windows delayed the start of the show on Thursday 3/8/01, and again on Friday 3/9/01. After several examples of different types of throat singing, Paul Pena introduced 'Swing Low, Sweet Cadillac' as his last song, and seemed like he was going to end his set. Then, someone came on stage and whispered to him. After playing Swing Low and thanking the crowd, he introduced SCI who played with him on two songs and then left the stage for another 1/2 hour or so. Many people were still outside for what seemed to be an unrehearsed and impromptu opener.
