Jerry Garcia - guitar, vocals;
John Kahn - bass;
Melvin Seals - keyboards;
Greg Errico - drums.

- Way up front sound ... nearly inaudible vocals, great kick drums, nice
guitar tone, indistinct bass, quite a nice listen. This appears not to be
the same master that generated the partial copy found in shnid 96089. This
is the penultimate JGB version of After Midnight (last was 3/7/83, per
TJS). TJS has listed Deal after HSII, but it makes more sense where it
appears here, at the end of the first set. The show is one of the rare
quartet shows until the return of backup singers on 10/24/82.
- d1t002 HSII levels up @ ca. 1:00;
- d1t003 CJ clips in;
- d1t004 Valerie clips in;
- d1t006 SIL first 48 seconds patched from shnid 96089 (with +1.2% pitch correction);
- d2t001 TLEO enters in progress, maybe 15 second missing; levels up @ 0:38; sound obscured
(levels down) @ 2:03-3:51;
- d2t002 LIR levels up a bit @ 1:19;
- d2t003 AM some level flux first :25.
