Band looks really happy and playing great. 'Oceans' is a beautiful opener and 'In Hiding' is one of the finest versions played. 'Nothingman' is introduced as a song about a man who "not only couldn't change the world ... he couldn't even take care of himself." 'Institutionalized' is a Suicidal Tendencies cover ("I'm not crazy, you're the one who's crazy ... institution.") 'Fuckin' Up' is a total surprise! Great crowd.

Disc 1 and 2 can be assembled seamlessly on longer media. The matrix mixes made for both rear and front channels have been D'EQed using CE Pro 2.0 I used a matrix mix for the front channels to add a little life to very dull mono SBD recording. The "surround sound" feel is still there, IMO. Sporadic FM static from the mono SBD ALD source mostly found btwn songs. Infrequent and nothing bad. A few bursts were removed entirely and others were reduced and masked with the 2 AUD sources. Most of these edits are smooth and most likely undetectable. 4 seconds of static on the very beginning of Daughter has been edited out. Both AUD sources were trimmed to match. This is smooth and most likely undetectable. A few minutes of crowd cheer was cut on the mono SBD btwn the last song and first encore break. Both AUDs were trimmed to match. No music, tuning or talking was missing, just crowd noise. 1:23:59.589 to 1:26:15.036 total of 02:15.446. This is smooth and most likely undetectable. d2t10 "fuckin' Up' was cut on AKG source. Patched with Mk4 source, +5db & D'EQed. 1:53:45.781 to 1:54:18.488 for a total 0:32.707. This is smooth and most likely undetectable. d2t10 all 3 sources were paused btwn the last song and the final (2nd) encore. They were all missing a different amount of btwn crowd cheering. They were trimmed to match and cross faded to keep sounding smooth an natural. This is smooth and most likely undetectable. Neither the SBD or either AUD were all that great. What we have is about as good as it can be given the source material. Interestingly enough, listening to each source individually I was left wondering if it was worth the effort. In the end the 3 sources ended up complimenting each other very nicely. Kinda filling in sonic areas that were missing individually. Maybe like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Jelly alone, not that great. Peanut butter straight, also not very good. And plain bread is just that, plain. However, mix all 3 together and bingo, gourmet food! With that said, enjoy this show, it is really good. --------------------------------------------------------- More On DTS Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and rise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analogue audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from FLAC files. --------------------------------------------------------- FLAC fingerprint pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t01.flac:c8a8141e2fe45e62098a20a4a62ec504 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t02.flac:c23a20cfc00b0e97a7d1ed223b23277a pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t03.flac:888989bcf7fee02bc65c3faef78fd8b0 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t04.flac:86a85fcaaac16e0e003cbd2da0457b85 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t05.flac:d5b625471acc9c51890171a6fea49428 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t06.flac:6209285e96dccbafc73d84cb3108888d pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t07.flac:8adb19901377b0db5c1873e54970601e pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t08.flac:4d75c698bdb4cec9332efd2b247d16ea pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t09.flac:c178e5a3974223f72eaedf7ee5be2b50 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t10.flac:a563f8fd1bd8aab74267fef104c0a75d pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t11.flac:c4af1304ddbc6a33066b7b33f40f43dd pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t12.flac:ead5c8db19bcb515e2c01da1f4d86888 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t13.flac:077fd62234c80688800f8e0f139866dc pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d1t14.flac:0a49a9374a49b9343be933bd65ab5469 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t01.flac:25f0ff7d1ce84697ee469b665e20d735 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t02.flac:973328c44f3bb3ab7227403dac22bed1 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t03.flac:500ef53dcbba0222daf9db8b439dac1e pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t04.flac:629198a95bbf5bce89df4ef3af34f280 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t05.flac:3cbd11da50af0c492500fd3d06e7720d pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t06.flac:4e8e120d272d6830e20d0a95de450a20 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t07.flac:06781a3f4b999875d6da46478c18dd8b pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t08.flac:5e5dd6c4956176ab18dbfee6d5a97c65 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t09.flac:6440f6556a71e7461bdd21ff002288e5 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t10.flac:3798113149598d3d239a1f6294eb2f64 pearljam1998-07-02-dts-d2t11.flac:bac9a3f916609322700a0ae4f8b10dbe
