Notes: partial sbd both sets - cotsman [2007-01-31]The sound quality on this seed is bipolar. Set1 is very muddy, lots of cuts, missing songs and warbly. Through all that sonic haze its a good 73 performance with "You Aint Woman Enough" having some campy Garcia licks and an unusual GSET > Bertha combo. Set 2 is better quality and worth a listen. The Dark Star > EOTW > China doll is all that circs. The Dark Star was notworthy to mee because around the 7 minute mark Phil is doing about 1 minutes worth of "Kings Solomons Marbles" while Jerry is playing a fast picking jazz style. Later on in EOTW the do a Stronger Than Dirt Jam so this is a prelude to the musical themes that would find their way onto Blues For Allah.
