The bands segment starts with a discussion between Hugh Heffner and Jerry Garcia. An acoustic "Mountains Of The Moon" is played, with just Garcia and Weir on acoustic guitar, Phil Lesh on bass, and Tom Constanten on organ. The whole band, with Pigpen on congas, plays "St. Stephen". The program was recorded on January 18, 1969. Original broadcast on July 10, 1969. | |||||
