Notes: Source Video MAC (8mm camera with dual Sony ECM 77-B mics > Sony EV-S1 8mm Recorder >Canopus ACDVio Capture card > Ulead Videostudio version 7 > DVD Audio Soundboard > 24trk reel to reel master > cassette > DAT Panasonic sv3700 > Cool Edit Pro > FLAC files > 'Bertha' remaster>SHN>WAV Note: After capturing the video, the audience soundtrack (from the video) was exported and then loaded into Cool Edit Pro along with a copy of the sbd audio. Then, an unique note at approximately 1 minute intervals on the video soundtrack was found and matched to the same note from the sbd. Some modification (ie stretching or shrinking) to the length of these segment was required in order for the sbd to flawlessly match the captured video. The original video audience track was then muted and the sbd tracks imported as background music prior to creating the master dvd. The video was captured at 720x480 resolution (DVD) at 4000bits\sec to create the original mpeg2 file. The camera was on a tripod and a 50-200mm lens was used for some great closeups. After the sound was imported and the dvd burned, the mpeg2 file was rendered to 352x240 to make VCD disks. It was also de-interlaced using TNOGEnc Plus during the original encoding. Takes either (2) dvds or (3) vcds. Audio\Video Flaws: 1st set: 1) The first 2 minutes and 53 seconds of the start of 1st set were added from the video soundtrack to give a better lead in. 2) Before the start of It Must Have Been the Roses, 41.630 seconds were missing from the soundboard. Used audio that came with video to fill in. 3) Before the start of Picasso Moon, 2 minutes and 43.737 seconds were missing from the soundboard. Used audio that came with video to fill in. 4) No other flaws noted during 1st Set 2nd set: 1) The first 1 minutes and 13 seconds of the start of 2nd set were added from the video soundtrack to give a better lead in. 2) About 2 minutes into Scarlet, .233 seconds was missing from the video - inserted 7 still frames with no loss of sound. 3) About 40 seconds into the Other One, 1.156 seconds were missing from the soundboard. Used audio that came with the video to fill in. 4) About 1 minute 40 seconds into the Hey Jude, 2.762 seconds were missing from the soundboard. Used audio that came with the video to fill in. 5) The first 2.925 seconds of the start of encore were added from the video soundtrack to give a better lead in. 6) No other flaws noted during 2nd set Brokedown House Productions Original 8mm cassette supplied by Dan Cole who also let me borrow the Sony EV-S1 8mm Recorder that the tapes were originally recorded on Video Capture and Conversion by Kevin Tobin Audio SBD imported and synced by Kevin Tobin Audio cds provide with thanks by Brian Heath 'Bertha' remastering performed by Jay Ashley
