| Notes: | This is the legendary show that ends in a fire and the loss of the Mothers' equipment, and was immortalized in the song "Smoke On The Water". Interestingly, it is also the best sounding audience tape from the ill-fated European tour of 1971. It is a very clear and well-balanced stereo recording that is often mistaken for a soundboard. At the end you can actually hear the taper hauling ass out of there, tape still rolling! It appears at the moment that the original boot CD from 1989 is the only genuine source for this show. Circulating tape sources appear to be dubbed straight from the boot CD. This is not a big deal, as the source sounds very low gen, if not from master reels. This new tracker friendly version is ripped from the original boot CD's, speed corrected by flambay, some level adjustments made and properly tracked, once and for all!
