Notes: sbd [2007-01-18]Very nice mix and sound (except Jerry might be low on the US Blues encore). Also excellent tight playing and generally relaxed show. The S>F, Estimated > Eyes make for a good sit down listen. Also the Jam out of drums before Sugar Mag has a Close Encounters theme tease by Jerry with Phil following on the bass.

Notes: 7" Betty Board Reel @ 7 1/2 ips > PCM501ES > Fostex D5 > optical S/PDIF out (Jace's tape) > disk WBOTB Transferred by Tim Deibert 3-10-02 [2007-04-28]This was part of the batch of BBD's that Tim Diebert had xferred about 4 years back but were never circ'd. I have not carefully compared it to others that circ to see if it is substantially different. The mix and tone are very good as are all BBD's of this era. The show is well played but the setlist has nothing exceptional and suffers from a long drums section that is not engaging. The 1/2 step, S>F, Estimated > EOTW are good as they usually are for this era. Not a must hear 78 show.

Notes: SBD -> Master Reel -> PCM -> Dat (44.1k) Transfers and Mastering By Charlie Miller [2007-04-22] This show has some moments and also some lapses. The show starts well with a well jammed Half Step, but reverts to typical deliveries of material in rotation for the rest of set 1. Set 2 continues with typical materail and delivery, marred by some lapses in verses but having a Close Encouters forray in the post drums space slot. Sound is very a very well mixed and rich toned sbd.
