| Notes: | naks - [7/4/2005] This show plods along. The Shakedown encore sums it up. The sound quality varies. Sometimes its very good, other times it sounds like a mic dropped out or there is some saturation. Could have been some PA problems or major mic postioning adjustments that contribute. The China > Rider is the highlight of set 1 and like Shakedown, is forced. Set 2 starts with a not very togther NFA (an unexpected positioning). The He's Gone jam is good as it melds with the "talking drum" percussion with Garcia soing lots of fast picking. This resumes after the drums segment and is the musical highlight of the show for me. Garcia's vocals a bit shaky. Truckin' vocals not sync'd or very harmonious. CAT has some emotion for a minute during Jerry's lead. Skip this one unless you have some connection with the time or place. | |||||
