Comment
Incredible sound for a 26 year old recording. You know Ivan's work
from Voodoo Lounge and the Winos, but have you ever heard him as a
teenager, holding his own with his dad, R&B legend, Aaron Neville?
This is no walk-on guest shot for Ivan, this is a full blown
performance by two members of the Neville family. The only band here
is Aaron on vocals and percussion, Ivan on vocals and keyboards,
and "Daddy Red" on percussion and vocals. This is from a small club
that seats 200, IF everyone stands, so this is in a very intimate
setting. If you like the rhythm and blues side of the Stones, if you
like the blues in small sweaty clubs, you will love this.
