Notes: Queens of the Stone Age - Rock Werchter Festival, Werchter (BEL) June 29, 2002 01. Feel good hit of the summer 02. Ode to Clarissa 03. Monsters in the parasol 04. Quick and to the pointless 05. You would know 06. A song for the dead 07. No one knows 08. Avon 09. Gonna leave you (spanish version) 10. The lost art of keeping a secret (Total time: 36:14) Sound: A Complete: No, but as you can see, I assembled every known broadcast of this live show in this compilation. Line up: Josh Homme: Vocals, Guitar Nick Oliveri: Vocals, Bass Mark Lanegan: Vocals Dave Grohl: Drums Troy van Leeuwen: Guitar, Pedal Steel, Keyboard --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sources: 1) Tr. 1-3, 5-8: FM (cable, stereo) > MD deck (analog input) > HD (digital input)> Nuendo editing/eq-ing/mastering @ 32Bit, 48000 kHz > Wave (0) 2) Tr. 4: Soundboard -> FM? -> ? -> Silver Pressed Bootleg -> FLAC 3) Tr. 9: Soundboard -> TV -> ? -> Silver Pressed Bootleg -> FLAC 4) Tr. 10 :Soundboard -> TV -> VCD -> CDR (0) -> HD -> Nuendo editing/eq-ing/mastering @ 32Bit, 48000 kHz -> Wave (0) Mastering: Wavemerge 2.1 -> Audition (Editing all, and EQ/Limiting Tr. 4&9) -> CD Wave -> Flac (level6) -> you --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Broadcasts: Source 1: Het Lek (VPRO), Radio 3FM (NL), 22:17-22:45 (NL time), Oct. 29, 2002. FM recorded by Prof. Stoned Source 2: (unknown) Source 3: MTV Europe (date unknown) Source 4: MTV 'Live Music Weekend Special', broadcast by MTV Europe on July 13, 2002 03:47 (NL time) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prof says: First of all a huge thanks to Shinkibo for instantly providing me with the two sdb tracks I didn't have from this show (4+9) taken from the "Mission Impossible" bootleg. This torrent goes out to him. This is the most complete compilation of soundboard recordings from this show ever to occure and it has not been released in this form before! I edited the tracks together in their original running order. And adjusted the sound where necessary. Even though they're all from the same soundboard source, the tracks didn't all sound quite the same, because of differences in broadcast mastering. This has all been corrected to my best knowledge now. A complete audience recording of this show exists as well. Enjoy! ****************************************** Make sure to bookmark this great QOTSA bootleginfo page: http://www.givethefanwhathewants.info/ ****************************************** Flac Fingerprints: Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.01.flac:c24bd662dcf0eb88130b4c63db88c4e4 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.02.flac:033550d714c655e90a3f30f7dbf95d79 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.03.flac:5858a450a643cab9dd0e4b246bbde349 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.04.flac:33d7b1f94e6f331ff2a7f0703ae099a0 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.05.flac:f3c522606af03a50c9638540a14d63ab Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.06.flac:d7511ffc88123819885a114f6b87d5e2 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.07.flac:52576eff98fd86f94519f48d5e07e3fa Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.08.flac:164845498dd158658087a5605d53b878 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.09.flac:16618a5caaa936c0567b1205d6040af6 Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.10.flac:42f7e230b45e589124d3df33093054bc Wave MD5: 57f2164ec17101aa00a7d8e9c7daaf95 *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.01.wav ba5e53104eb09a3d332d254ee6cb5f0b *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.02.wav ec008cd85db801674b6076fa484d9fcd *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.03.wav 326f0879704533e3b6432832d2af9a6a *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.04.wav baaae66653c0d1bca334e1674eba55fd *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.05.wav fe68c8153831df777b1dc4f4c0900a79 *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.06.wav 2eef9623adbc81dcdb2249994c3aeae5 *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.07.wav 4c64a0a7086cc8607b7d9e1f0a926768 *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.08.wav a8bdd7482649d5fcba549e31d7c56b91 *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.09.wav 1f6ee5c5f8761493dbba99a63b4cc54e *Qotsa - 2002-06-29 - SDB -Tr.10.wav
