Broadcast: Later with Jools Holland, BBC TV2, 23:35-0:30 (UK time), Oct. 26 2002.
Date of recording: unknown but before Oct. 26 & probably not earlier than Oct. 17 2002. (NB: I did mail the BBC to find out exactly. But the infoservice couldn't tell.)
Location: unknown but probably in the BBC Tv-studio's in London, United kingdom
1) No one knows
2) Millionaire
3) Lost art
Source: TV (cable, stereo) > audioCDRrecorder (analog input) > HD (digital input)> Nuendo editing/eq-ing/mastering @ 32Bit, 48000 kHz > Wave (0) (16bit, 44000kHz) > Shn (0) > This disc
Total time: 10:54
Complete: This is not certain. There might have been different takes of the songs, as this was a pre-recorded show. However, the qotsa broadcast is here in its entire. Note: the songs were not played right after each other but there were breaks between them of at least 20 minutes.
Set II
Broadcast: Jo Whiley, BBC radio 1, 12:37-12:47 (UK time) Oct. 29 2002.
Date of recording: 12:37-12:47 (UK time) Oct. 29 2002.
Location: The Arc, London, United kingdom
4) Interview with Josh
5) No one knows (Josh acoustic solo performance)
6) Feel good hit the summer (Josh acoustic solo performance)
Source: FM (cable, stereo) > audioCDRrecorder (analog input) > HD (digital input)> Nuendo editing/eq-ing/mastering @ 32Bit, 48000 kHz > Wave (0) (16bit, 44000kHz) > Shn (0) > This disc
Total time: 9:25
Complete: yes
Note: a very special special acoustic performance, a must ! No one knows had a peculiar sort of dropout in the solo part. It was in the broadcast. I tried to cover it up but a well-trained ear can still hear a slight pop there.
Set III
Live broadcast: Steve Lamarcq evening show, BBC radio1, 21:30-21:52 (UK time) Oct. 29 2002)
Date of recording; 21:20-21:52 (UK time), Oct. 29, 2002.
Location: Rockcity, Notthingham, United kingdom
7) Intro/Spiders & vinegaroons
8) Millionaire
9) Feel good hit
10) Quick & to the pointless
11) If only
12) The sky is falling
13) Leg of lamb
14) I'm gonna leave
15) Hangin'tree
16) Auto pilot
Source: FM (cable, stereo) > audioCDRrecorder (analog input) > HD (digital input)> Nuendo editing/eq-ing/mastering @ 32Bit, 48000 kHz > Wave (0) (16bit, 44000kHz) > Shn (0) > This disc
Total time: 32:25
Complete: no, the gig was not entirely aired but the whole broadcast is here.
Note: As sometimes happens with live-broadcasts, there were some flaws in the sound. During 'If only', 'Leg of lamb' & mainly 'Sky is falling' there is some screeching noise on the right channel. This is *not* a result of my recording equipment or your cd-burner. It was there in the broadcast...
