The Cambodian Refugee Benefit Concert, Oakland Auditorium. "Joan Baez, The Beach Boys, Jefferson Starship, The Grateful Dead +special guests Carlos Santana and John Cippolina. Absolutely WEIRD line-up; This was the show where Santana joined Craig Chacquico for a dueling guitar jam on Somebody to Love (as sung by Icky); Kantner was very fired up, clearly reclaiming his role as Captain of the band during those Freedom at Point Zero days..... A big singalong at the end, where PK and Joan and others joined the Dead..." - T. Mulligan
