Hunter played between sets for Bob Dylan and The Dead - (From Hunter Archives) "The Tampa arena, packed to the rafters, was cozy by comparison [to Office Depot show the night before]. After the first show, prompted by Maureen, made the big decision to give up using radio equipment in arenas. The sound is too thin to cut through, so I plugged in my guitar, used a regular microphone, and, by gum, filled the Tampa room with full, fat audible sound. What an immense satisfaction! Not that I'll ever like being pinned to one spot and having to stay on-mike, but the difference in crowd response to what I do was decisive and there's no looking back."
