Notes: Grateful Dead 07-01-1966 Unknown-possibly Fillmore West Source: Soundboard Lineage: MSR > DAT > CDR > EAC(secure) > mkwACT > SHN > WAV > FLAC frontend > FLAC Disc I 01 Cold Rain And Snow [03:18] 02 It's All Over Now Baby Blue [04:59] 03 Cream Puff War [04:38] 04 I'm A King Bee [09:03] 05 Stealin' [03:11] 06 Dancin' In The Streets [07:06] This is a great sounding SBD and most definitely worth having. There is a bit of speculation over this show and i'm sure there will be further debate over it, due to a few anomalies: 1) There is no listing of the Grateful Dead playing this date in DeadBaseX 2) and according to DB-X the only dates the GD played "Stealin'" live were 3/25, 7/30, 10/7, & 11/29 of '66, which this is not from. 3) The closest date and sound are from the 07-03-66 Fillmore West performance, which this is also not from. Additional Notes: There are, what sounds like, tape wheel muffles throughout this recording where it sounds a little softer in brief spots. Nothing too bad, but worth noting. Anyone who has tapes knows what i mean. The only painful part is when "Dancin'" cuts off abruptly at [06:57] Enjoy!! Be Grateful, Reseed!!
