Notes: EAC of this source via Brian Walker - there seems to be some odd sounding crackle at end of disk 2 but it could be on the PA. Despite his using an offset calibrated drive, his md5's don't match some wind noise and some static on FT > FOTM ?
Matt Vernon (1/4.8) SHN / 2 View 7975
Notes: this aud sounds similar in quality to the akg but has fewer blemishes on it (esp distortion at end of set on the re-EAC akg)
Matt Vernon (1/4.8) SHN / 2 A- A/B View 13489
Notes: akg via Charles Wier. Gotta love the silky Kimock treatment on VLB. Could be a flaw at d2t5 2:35 (skip/gap) and 4:55. d2t6 seems to have some crackle from 4:30 on that may have come from the PA. Set flow kind of choppy because I guess they were messing with lyric sheets etc. but this lineup is atypical of Phil's Southern rock sound so you should seek it out for a change of pace. [5/5/2004]
