Confirmation d1t02. Out of the Blue ------------------------------------------------------- Notes: - This source is much crisper than the previously seeded LL26. A definite upgrade by my ears - This is a stellar performance. Very short, but very, very sweet. Track two is absolutely phenomenal. Jackie McLean and Miles really complement each other very, very well here. - D1t02 There is a burst of static at 3:50 that lasts for a little less than 2 seconds. - Thanks to Peter Losin for source!! - Peter Losin notes: "Davis's first live date as a leader since the October Birdland broadcast. His All-Star group was booked at Birdland for one week, May 1-7. Two nights were broadcast on WJZ. Presumably there was more from this night, but so far this is all that has surfaced.-Credit to Peter Losin http://www.plosin.com/ - QC done by Bgreen md5 d19f4de07a57453f6db44a3aae4fd324 *md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t01.flac e19857ed6d62c4043bcf143c03c5bc49 *md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t02.flac ffp md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t01.flac:b7f34d27016d3657881d197d9163ae01 md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t02.flac:f4787bdfd067e0a765b4ef8b5e86108d shntool length expanded size cdr WAVE problems filename 5:49.53 61688300 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t01.flac 5:46.36 61119116 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t02.flac 11:36.14 122807416 B (totals for 2 files, 0.5023 overall compression ratio) spectral analysis from TLH md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t01.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% md1952-05-02.fm.LL93.d1t02.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 100% old ffp 16 - Track16.flac:b7f34d27016d3657881d197d9163ae01 17 - Track17.flac:f4787bdfd067e0a765b4ef8b5e86108d
