After setbreak, Dave Grippo's band, which includes Andy Moroz and Jennifer Hartswick, returned to the stage, complete with Trey Anastasio on guitar, Russ Lawton on drums, Tony Markellis on bass and Ray Paczkowski on keyboards. At this point, the current, on-stage line-up was only 3 members shy of the full 10-piece Trey Anastasio Band (TAB). The unit then launched into the TAB staples Push on Till The Day and Drifting. Trey then invited Page McConnell to join Ray on keys for a rendition of Bob Marley's Small Axe, yet another song TAB has played. Jon Fishman then emerged to join the band for both Last Tube and Dire Straits' Sultans of Swing. And finally, Mike Gordon joined in for a monsterous version of Sand featuring all the members of Phish with the 7-piece TAB, during which the TAB members filetered off the stage leaving only the members of Phish remaining. With just the members of Phish on stage, and a crowd in a frenzy, the band launched into Chalkdust Torture, after which Jon, Page and Mike left the stage, and Jen, Tony, Russ and Ray returned for Flock of Words. Andy then returned for Plasma. The set concluded with the members of Phish retaking the stage with TAB to cover Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground. | |||||
