Comment
[1] First known Phish performance; Ninja Mike on vocals and played with full instrumentation, as opposed to the usual a cappella arrangement.
[2] To "Sue and Debra." Long, reggae-influenced version.
[3] First known Phish performance; unidentified female lead vocalist.
[4] First known Phish performance; Jim Pollock on vocals.

Free Bird was an actual attempt at the song and not an a cappella version, but was performed quite mockingly and not in its entirety. It did, however, feature Ninja Mike on vocals. Happy Birthday was sung to “Sue and Debra” and was a long, reggae-influenced version. Tell Me Something Good featured an unidentified female lead vocalist. Jim Pollock offered vocals for the only known performance of Freeworld. This show featured the first known Phish performances of Free Bird, Tell Me Something Good, and Freeworld.

Notes and Fixes using SF4.5: -Tape flip between t7 and t8 -The original tracks were noticeably flat and slow. To compensate for the faulty analog generations/transfers, I increased the pitch by 190 cents (almost one step) along with anti-alias filtering to decrease distortion during software resampling. -Applied a paragraphic EQ hiss filter to reduce hiss above 8 kHz by 20 dB. -Normalized disc to 98%. -Retracked disc so that each song begins at the start of the track. -As with all shows I've done, I may have missed some things (ie, pops, clicks, etc). If so, please let me know so that I can fix them up asap.
