Perfect weather - not too hot, and the famous California low humidity. We arrived 2 hours before the concert and Al and company were already there for the sound checks. That's when we learned Peter White, Greg Vail and Robert Alpert were "the band". A repeat of last year's great line-up.
About the middle of the performance Kim Dyer joined us saying she wanted to be close to the stage to take photos of a "surprise". What a great surprise when Lawrence Juber walked on stage. Amazing that he would drive out to Ventura county to surprise a friend and play just two numbers. After Peter White and Laurence Juber played a spirited duet Al commented that Jimmy Page was up next...
