The Ocean This is the first of several discs I had promised earlier, newly arrived. I can't tell you how pleased I am to try to reciprocate and help everyone else who has so generously been seeding all this wonderful U2 material, old and new! The quality is excellent, would suspect it was recorded from the radio broadcast of the show. Pimm's book description: "This is Rejoice," Bono announces exuberantly, but Edge is not ready yet. "Uhm, actually, this is not Rejoice, this is Edge tuning up, so...This is where it all breaks down, where all professionalism and years of touring just leave you lying there destructed. What can I say? There's people nodding their heads in agreement. How are you? My name is Bono, this is The Edge, this is Adam, thjis is Larry, this is U2...and this is Rejoice." Bono has plans. "Because thjis is our last night we couldn't go home without having a sort of a party. So we're all going for a swim afterwards, so...." U2's last American show of the year is recorded by WLIR radio. EAC spectral analysis confirms that this has no mp3 sourcing, but the exact lineage 24 years later is anyone's guess...thus...
