.38 Special opened, No Donnie Van Zandt. Guitarist Don Barnes sang in his absence. Lynyrd Skynyrd originally scheduled to open but Johnnie Van Zandt also ailing and required vocal chord surgery. Rumors were flying that Warren Haynes also would not be making this show but was there. Gregg was in rare form.
